Sigh, nowadays i have to try and use proper English to speak and not Singaporean English anymore. Somehow, i feel that people who can speak good English tends to be regarded highly? Or is it that i m just too sensitive, to think in this manner. But anyway, just a few days ago, we had this oral practice in class and when i partnered with Fazlina, i was amazed by the way she talk. It was really natuaral and up to standard .. i mean, compared to me, perhaps.....and i was telling her that i was truly embarrassed speaking in front of her...haha...but she was cute and modest and accepted on the way i speak, giving comments and etc....
Then, the NEXT BIG thing, got to see my Chinese O level result on Friday afternoon, yeah, and i got astounded by this big surprise...hey, i don't expect it ...really, that was why i went home and kept on questioning myself...but i realized afterall, my hard work pays, and though Chinese seems to be a language kind of subject, i still study you know....you guys might be thinking of how crazy i was, but i don bother, as long as i got my desired grade...However, the most important thing was that i already had that basic Chinese foundation which i felt contributed largely to my grade. All and all, i was ecstatic...
